I have some special plans in mind for these pictures and hated to ruin the surprise, but I just couldn't wait to debut them.
Last week I took some Valentine's pictures of my sweet little princess. She was a little sleepy and suffering from double ear infections--I didn't know at the time--but she was a trooper and let me play dress up with her. Being a mom to a girl is so much fun!
I made the tutu and the baby leg warmers, which you can't really see. They were super easy. Just take women's knee-high socks, cut above the heel and sew. Voila! Baby leg warmers!

if that 1st one isn't your computer background at work, it should be!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the pictures! Hmm, let me see if I can talk the hubs into pictures. I've been wanting to take some new ones. Maybe I can convince him to take some for our adoption profile. Also, I want to see a picture of the leg warmers you made. I have three pairs of knee high socks that I've bought just to make those, but I don't have any babies to try them on and I'm scared they won't fit right.
ReplyDeleteOh, it will be Mel!
ReplyDeleteCourt--How fun! It's been forever since I've been to Stillwater. Just let me know. If your husband is anything like mine, he LOVES pictures. Sike! I'll send you a pic of the warmers. I don't have a sewing machine right now, so I didn't sew mine...just turned them under. They fit great and Ellie is a tall little girl.
